Refund policy

Refund & Return Policy

Please note we do not provide refunds in the event of ‘change of mind’ or incorrect product choice. If your purchased product is faulty, we will help you address the fault as per our Warranty Policy (below).

If you order a motor with the wrong shaft length, please contact us within 3 calendar days of taking delivery or pick up. You may swap for another shaft length provided that the original motor is unused, free from surface damage (e.g. scratches, scuffs, dents, discolouration), and returned in its original packaging. An administration and restocking fee of $150 is payable for any motor swap. Additional fees will apply if packaging is returned damaged.

What is covered under warranty?

Our warranty covers faults and defects in manufacturing or design that prohibits the product from functioning in the intended manner.

What is excluded from warranty?

Our warranty does NOT cover damage caused by accident, improper installation, unauthorised repair or modification, misuse, neglect and normal wear and tear. Incidental or consequential costs arising from a fault (e.g. towing, telecommunications, loss of earnings, time spent, etc) are also excluded from warranty.

Battery Warranty Note

Our batteries are covered by warranty subject to proper use, charging, and storage. Instructions relating to use, charging and storage are presented in the relevant product user manuals. You must follow these instructions to properly maintain battery health. Failure to do so will void battery warranty.

Warranty Period

We provide a 12 month warranty on all inflatable boats.  And 2 year warranty on all motor and battery type products and accessories.  Warranty period starts from the purchase date. Warranty on select products may be extended by an extra year by registering your product via our website.

Online Warranty

If you purchased your product through our website, please lodge your warranty claim via our online warranty form.

The more information you provide, the quicker we can process the warranty claim. If your photo or video attachments are too big, please upload them to Google Drive or Dropbox and share the download link.

Once we have received your claims form, we will provide you with a claim reference number, and confirm details for shipping of the faulty product or part thereof.

Repair or Replace

If your warranty claim is accepted, we will repair the product and return it to you.

If the product cannot be repaired, we will provide you with a replacement, provided that the original faulty product is returned to us first.

Once your product is repaired or replaced, you will receive a confirmation email to sign and return, to confirm that the warranty claim is resolved.

If your warranty claim is rejected, we will contact you with a repair quote. It will be your discretion to decide whether to proceed with repairs or have the product returned to you.

Limitation on Replacement

Where we agree to a replacement, it will be limited to the specific stand-alone item where the fault resides. For example, our Spirit 1.0 Plus motor is packaged together with a standard Spirit charger. If the charger is faulty and cannot be repaired, we will only replace the charger, not the entire motor package.

Shipping

When sending out a product to us for warranty assessment, you are responsible for arranging the initial shipping. You must ensure that the product is packed appropriately. Damage incurred during shipping is not covered by warranty.

If the product cannot be handled by Australia Post, please contact us at support@eboating.com.au to discuss alternative shipping arrangements.

If your warranty claim is accepted, we will send the repaired or replacement product back to you at no extra cost. If your warranty claim is rejected, we will contact you to arrangement payment for return shipping.
